The Science of Natural Health

I was only in my late thirties when I was diagnosed with high blood pressure and high cholesterol. At the time, not only was I a practicing physician and advocate of Western medicine, but I was also an avid athlete who took pride in staying in good shape.

This kicked off my journey to understand the role of diet and exercise on health and aging. I knew that I was experiencing what my patients had been telling me all along—I ate right and exercised, yet here I was going to be on at least two medications before I turned 40!

For two years I researched diet and nutrition, spending nights and weekends after my practice closed, to try to understand what REALLY matters when it comes to health. And I found that it came down to just a few simple rules that are simple and easy to follow.

Once my own hypertension and hyperlipidemia resolved, I started to work with my patients, and found that what worked for me also worked for them. And now, I trust that it will also work for you.

I've been a physician, nutritionist, personal trainer and gym owner. Along the way l've helped people to reverse disease, throw away medications, and feel younger. So if you are looking to turn back the clock, you've come to the right place. Welcome!

I completed medical school at Rutgers Medical School in my home state of NJ. After that, I trained in internal medicine at Boston University and Scripps Clinic in La Jolla, CA. After training in medicine, I earned an MBA from Columbia University before starting practice in New York City's Upper East Side.

Eight years after opening my NYC office I returned to California to see patients in San Diego. That was where I opened my hybrid medical clinic which led me to my online practice.

I now live with my beautiful wife and amazing child. When I'm not working on helping my patients, I shoot off to the mountains for a day of skiing, snowboarding or mountain biking.
